Governors
Every school in the UK has a team of governors which is made up of parents, teachers and people from the local community. School governors are chosen by the existing governing body, by other parents from the school, pr by other members of staff from the school.
Governors normally meet once a term to receive reports from the Headteacher on the life and work of the school. Members of staff also report to Governors at the termly meetings, and this usually takes the form of an in-depth look at some of the aspects of the whole school curriculum.
